Creating flexible office space with the MG500 flush glazed sliding folding acoustic partition. ModernGlide have recently completed installation of our MG500 Flush Glazed Sliding Folding Partitions as part of a modern office fit-out. The MG500 system features hinged sliding folding glazed wall partitions that enhance workspace flexibility and employee comfort.
01 — The Design Challenge
What problem needed solving?
The client required a series of flexible meeting and collaboration spaces within an open-plan office environment. The system needed to be quickly reconfigurable to accommodate different group sizes and activities, while maintaining the light and airy feel of the open-plan space.
This type of flexible space division challenge is where ModernGlide's operable wall and acoustic partition systems excel — delivering both acoustic performance and design integrity.
02 — The System Solution
How ModernGlide solved it
The MG500 flush glazed sliding folding partition was specified. The hinged panels fold and stack neatly to one side of the opening, leaving a completely clear opening when not in use. When closed, the flush-glazed panels provide acoustic separation while maintaining visual connectivity between spaces.
